When I think about the concept of grace, I often come back to nature, and specifically flowers. There are many reasons why they are colorful but one of then is grace. God could have designed the whole operation differently, but He chose this way as a way of communicating how He loves us in small ways.

What’s remarkable about this, the second highest waterfall in the US, is that the land on which it sits was a donation. A timber tycoon at the turn of the century donates the Falls on 300 acres surrounding it to the state of Oregon so that all could enjoy it. It now stands as the most popular destination in the entire region.
In this sense, it truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
The chance to do something awesome occurs less often than the chance to do more laundry. So if you’re ever torn between doing something amazing, or doing laundry, choose amazing. Laundry will always still be there.
